One of the most experienced interventional cardiologists in the state for the past 30+ years, Dr. Ali is the Director of the Board, Advisor for the Center for Heart and Vascular Care, and a Senior Consultant at Meitra Hospital. An alumnus of Calicut Medical College, he completed his cardiology training from Bangalore University and worked as a Consultant at Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. He was instrumental in setting up one of the most comprehensive and successful cardiac care programs in Calicut. During this period, he introduced Kerala’s first successful primary angioplasty program for the treatment of Myocardial Infarction, along with other key services such as cardiac surgery and heart transplants, which proved to be a strong model for others to follow.
