Dr. Shanavas comes with 10 years+ in the field of Gastrointestinal surgery. He completed his MS from Government Medical College, Calicut, and his MCh from Government Medical College, Trivandrum. He was later awarded the Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery (FMAS) and Fellowship from the Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (FIAGES). Dr. Shanavas also received training in Minimally Invasive Proctology from CE MAST Institute, Mumbai. Added to this, he has completed his training in Minimally Invasive Abdominal Wall Hernia surgeries at National University Hospital, Singapore.
